On Sunday I went to my friend Jackie’s fundraiser for the Special Olympics Connecticut, where crazy people jump into really cold water in the winter. No I did NOT go in, I don’t like going in when it’s summer, but I lent some help in taking photos at the event. Events do make you photo happy and I took as many as I could. Congrats to Jackie for shattering her goal and hosting such a successful event! You can see my photos below…
When it rains it pours, this time I put a very long iMix up that was approved by iTunes, I’ve been in a little crabby mood lately so I decided to put together a little mix to listen to for a little pouting and uplifting. Check it out, and if you like it, rate it with the stars! I have some ratings so far but more would be really cool!!
Plenty of people consider American Idol to be a guilty pleasure. I am not one of those people. I am a proud American Idol lover. Last year I was bored during a show of songs I didn’t care about though, so I decided to “live blog” during the show. Well, to my surprise people were amused by this…even my HUMOR! Got me… I decided to keep it up and continue to live blog on American Idol and it actually started to draw in quite a bit of people from around the net, and even world! Hundreds of people were reading it. How the hell did that happen? While it wound down towards the end, I decided that since this is Simon Cowell’s last year on American Idol, it was probably the last year it will actually be relevant, so another year of live blogging it is. +Continue Reading
Well I have been trying to think of the best way to wrap up my favorite songs of 2009 and I know many of them probably didn’t even originate in 2009, so I used Last.fm to check out what I exactly listened to and here it is. The artists in the top 10 won’t surprise anyone but the #1 artist MIGHT…..
Could I be any happier? Last night on SouthPark what sounded like Mr. Eric Cartman (thought I didn’t see him in the act) did a nice little homage to Lady Gaga’s ‘Poker Face.’ Now it’s finally online in full. It’s a true piece of art… ENJOY!
So my first project in my Visual Aesthetic’s masters class was to find a Kandinsky painting online and duplicate it. Here was what I ended up with, it’s no Kandinsky but it could have been worse.
I am still flying high getting an A for my first Masters class! WOO! One week left until my Visual Aesthetics class starts so decided to play around with my class webspace landing page, felt anything was better than the “Click here to enter blog” text. Tell me what ya think!
It occurred to me today that I have had a cell phone for 10 years, I got my first cell phone in 1999 for Christmas and it was one of the first Sprint PCS cell phones. I recently purchased the HTC Hero, the newest phone on the market, using the new Android system. To do this, I dropped the iPhone (I know…) and ended up back at Sprint after what I realized was QUITE a long laundry list of phones!
